Terasic Technologies Servo Motor Kit

Terasic Technologies Servo Motor Kit is designed to enable developers to learn about servo motor control and build their own robotic devices. The Servo Motor Kit includes one Servo Motor Driver Daughter Board and one servo motor. The Servo Motor Driver Daughter Board can drive up to 24 servo motors. Using a host board and additional servos, the driver board can be used to drive multiple-jointed robotics, such as a Hexapod Robot, Biped Robot, or Arm Robot.

The motor driver daughter card has a 3.3V 2×20 GPIO interface which can connect to a Terasic Technologies DE Series Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Board. The FPGA Board acts as a host board to send PWM signals to the Servo Motor Driver Daughter Board to control the rotation of the connected servo motors.

The Server Motor Kit also includes the Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) IP and reference designs. By referring to these examples, designers can quickly learn how to work with servo motors and build their own robotic projects.Learn More
